Application launcher has a problem with uppercase letters

What's wrong?
When I type an app name in the launcher using lowercase, it works.
But if I type CHromium or CHROMIUM with uppercase letters, it doesn't find the application. It just shows the web search option instead.
Just for information, my keyboard layout is set to tr, but I also tried with the us layout and the bug is still there.
