Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). What's wrong?
Hi,
the omarchy screenshoter does not work when I enable 10 bit.
I see gray screen and black box instead of window where my cursor is.
The final screenshot looks like this
<img width="836" height="633" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/a2fb999b-109e-424f-a2d6-e1bc3d72c23f" />
When I change to 8 bit in monitors config then I can see what is going on on display but everything is too bright and the final screenshot is like this
<img width="1013" height="1270" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/85992e41-f884-48da-8227-bdb0a9a5b81d" />
The same is with 12 bit
<img width="916" height="948" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/11e4769e-2b76-4e82-9686-5eace32977d3" />
When I comment these lines in ~/.local/share/omarchy/bin/omarchy-cmd-screenshot
# wayfreeze & PID=$!
# sleep .1
...
# kill $PID 2>/dev/null
then I can see a normal color while selecting a zone to capture in any bit setting.
But the final screenshot is still too bright but so strong as with uncommented lines.

My .conf/hypr/monitors.conf
env = GDK_SCALE,2
monitor=,3840x2160@120,auto,1.25,bitdepth,10,cm,hdr,sdrbrightness,1.4My monitor is LG C4 42' OLED TV.
If I need for debugging, just ping me, I will help.
