Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Omarchy 3.1.4
What's wrong?
I installed Omarchy quite a while ago before there was an iso, using archinstall followed by the install script. Doing so worked perfectly and my USB speakers/mic and other audio devices showed up (in the TUI).
Fast forward to today: I did a fresh manual install (to get Limine and other things) and no audio devices at all show up (e.g. nothing in the audio TUI).
Manually installing the following packages seem to have helped:
yay -S pipewire pipewire-alsa pipewire-pulse
yay -S alsa-utilsI can't say which one as I didn't test between the installs. These are listed in install/omarchy-other.packages and thus not installed by default. Did this change since the early days?
