Project overview

Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

What do you need?

Hey,
love the project. only pain point is the selected item in menu is really hard to recognise, in basically all the themes

<img width="860" height="538" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/fafa8e86-116f-4aec-a6a1-7184ed881bbd" />

and yes, that could be fixed via theme, but the main colours, in this case white and that primary blue colour, should both be bright, so making the main blue darker or so for the menu item to be recognised just puts more constraints on colour choices
also would require changing ALL themes, when this could be fixed with tiny ui changes

also for accessibility, things like this should be communicated not just with colour

ideally this could just be fixed with an underline / border / bullet point on the selected item.
or even inverting colours, having a white box around selected item with dark writing.

Im really new to this but if you point me in the direction of what and where to do this I can have a go
