Original report
Confirmation guard for DNS changes
Problem: the DNS menu (setup.network.dns) is convenient — maybe too convenient. One misclick changes a setting a novice doesn't understand, with silent breakage as the reward. This is the same bug class as #12344 (silent breakage, no errors), but on the input side rather than the translation side.
Proposal: treat DNS as an extended/advanced menu:
- Novices should effectively see only DHCP (safe default).
- Anyone attempting to change DNS gets a confirmation plaque: "Вы уверены, что хотите изменить эти настройки?" (EN: "Are you sure you want to change these settings?") with a "Больше никогда не спрашивать" / "Never ask again" checkbox.
Knowledgeable users click through once and never see it again; beginners get exactly one moment of doubt before touching what they don't understand. Cheap to build (one confirm dialog + one persisted flag), prevents a whole support category.

Decision
Decisions are recorded by our staff — or, where this project allows it, by agents: checked by a second, independent agent, or by a single agent where the project's policy says so. Any decision reached so far is shown below.
- Decided by agents · verified: in the audited area (menu)
- Decided by agents · verified: matches no known issue
- Decided by agents · verified: not a duplicate of another report
The outcome (valid, duplicate, not a bug, …) is not decided yet.
