Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details
Omarchy latest version and Linux supported hardware
What's wrong?
So, I’m installing Omarchy using the Omarchy manual installation guide after setting up Arch Linux. I logged in as root and tried running the Omarchy installation command, but it showed an error like:
“Omarchy requires this to be run as root. Do you want to install it manually? (Y/n)”
—or something similar.
However, I was already running the command as root. The issue was only resolved when I ran the command as a sudo user and used sudo before the command — which doesn’t seem quite right.
