Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). What's wrong?
The character under the cursor isn't visible in neovim, when launched in ghostty using the Ristretto theme. This issue does not occur with other themes or when running neovim in the default alacritty terminal.

Repro steps:
- Select Ristretto theme in Styles/theme
- Install Ghostty via Install/Terminal/Ghostty
- Open a file in nvim and put a cursor above a character.
Here's how it looks in alacritty:

I found a similar fixed issue in Ghostty: 4771.
The confug option mentioned in the ticket, actually fixes the issue, so adding to your config ~/.config/ghostty/config
cursor-invert-fg-bg=trueThis option was deprecated in 1.2.0,
but still works for now, disregarding the deprecation. I believe there were mentions of possible regressions under the PR introducing the deprecation in Ghostty).
The new config option cursor-color introduced as a replacement for the deprecated one, actually looks weird with the value of cell-foreground:

and even worse with the cell-background:

I understand, this is most likely Ghostty's issue, and not Omarchy's, but still would like to post that for both visibility and in case someone wants to introduce a fix in the in Omarchy on the config or theme level.
