Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details
Core(TM) i7-8650U, Omarchy 3.2.0
What's wrong?
When I install apps from the Omarchy menu (Install > Editor or Install > Package),
the installer automatically picks the first available provider for certain
dependencies like vulkan-driver.
I’m on an Intel system, but the installer always selects the Nvidia package
(nvidia-utils) by default. This causes the installation to fail unless I install
the software manually.
It would be helpful if the installer asked the user to pick the correct option,
or automatically detected the correct provider based on the hardware.
Right now it’s impossible to install some apps (like Zed) from the Omarchy UI
because the wrong driver is chosen.
