Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Google Meet shows black screen and no controls when using mobile Wi-Fi tetheringrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:49 UTC via poll

System details

B760M GAMING WIFI, 12th Gen Intel(R) Core, Intel UHD Graphics 770, Omarchy 3.2.2

What's wrong?

When I connect my desktop to the internet via Wi-Fi tethering from my phone, I can browse the web normally (open pages, watch YouTube, etc.), but I cannot join any Google Meet calls. The tab shows only a black screen without any controls, I can’t hear anyone and nobody can hear me.

If I switch the connection to USB tethering from the same phone, Google Meet works perfectly.

On the same PC, when I boot into Windows, Google Meet works fine with the same Wi-Fi tethering setup.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue or has any idea what might be causing it?
