Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Omarchy’s default package remover is not working.revision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:49 UTC via poll

System details

AMD70700X , nvidia RTX 4060, Omarchy 3.2.2

What's wrong?

I’ve noticed a issue with Omarchy’s default package remover.

It doesn’t seem to detect any installed packages — the package count always shows 0, even though multiple packages are clearly installed on the system.

This issue started right after an Omarchy update I installed earlier today. Before that update, the package remover was working normally.

Because of this, the package remover doesn’t work as expected.

Is this a known issue from the latest update, or does it require some additional configuration?
