What's wrong?

Observed behaviour

When launching Hyprland from tty, most keyboard shortcuts do not work, including the omarchy menu. The only keyboard shortcut that I have discovered is working so far is SUPER + ENTER to launch a terminal window.

Expected behaviour

Launching hyprland from tty behaves the same as when hyprland is launched via systemd graphical.target

Steps to reproduce

  • Set system to multiuser target to boot to tty: sudo systemctl set-default multi-user.target
  • Reboot system
  • Login to tty
  • Launch hyprland from terminal hyprland
  • Attempt to launch walker menu with SUPER + ALT + SPACE (fails) or other keybinding SUPER + K (fails)
