ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
AMD Ryzen 5 5600x, nVidia 3080, Omarchy 3.3.1
What's wrong?
It appears the the ~/.local/share/omarchy/default/hypr/apps/browser.conf window opacity rules are not consistently being applied.
if you open Chromium or Firefox, and open several tabs, only one of the tabs will be obeying the opacity rules specified in this file. this seems to apply to Firefox as well as Chromium.
an easy way to test this is to adjust the default opacity settings in ~/.local/share/omarchy/default/hypr/windows.conf to something very low, and then verify that the browsers are not always using the more opaque specific settings.
