Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details

Intel Core i5, Omarchy 3.3.3

What's wrong?

On a fresh install, I wasn't able to get the default screen brightness keybindings that use the omarchy-cmd-apple-display-brightness utility to work.

I added the following lines to ~/.config/hypr/hyprland.conf:

bindd = CTRL, F1, Apple Display brightness down, exec, brightnessctl set 10%-
bindd = CTRL, F2, Apple Display brightness up, exec, brightnessctl set +10%
bindd = SHIFT CTRL, F2, Apple Display full brightness, exec, brightnessctl set 100%
