Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details
Intel I5 12500H, Nvidia RTX 3050, Omarchy 3.3.3
What's wrong?
The Problem:
The flag --disable-features=WaylandWpColorManagerV1 was added through a migration 1760401344.sh with commit to temporarily solve the issue of chromiuum based browsers window crashing when switching monitors see https://github.com/hyprwm/Hyprland/issues/11957
Later on the issue was fixed upstream in Chromium Review #7003036 which was merged in October 2025, as a considerable amount of time has been passed since for everyone to update their chromium setup. Considering this, it is advisable to remove this flag again from the codebase of Omarchy.
The fix:
Removing this flag --disable-features=WaylandWpColorManagerV1 from the launch parameters of chromium which are located in the config/chromium-flags.conf and config/brave-flags.conf files and making another migration for existing systems.
What this fixes:
The protocol disabled by this flag is primarily used for HDR and color management in wayland. It fixes the following things:
- HDR support in the browser
- Wide Color Gamut (WCG)
- Improves color accuracy
For more details about this flag see the Wayland Color Managment Protocol V1.
Testing:
Tested on:
- Hyprland 0.53.3
- Chromium Version 144.0.7559.132 (Official Build) Arch Linux (64-bit)
Verdict: No crashes observed.
