What's wrong?
Although [this bug] has been marked as closed, the same behavior still occurs with other gaming-related applications, including Lutris and Faugus Launcher. Specifically, when gaming with a controller, the screensaver activates briefly for about one second, causing the game windows to resize unexpectedly. Pressing any button on the controller dismisses the screensaver immediately.
The current workaround or fix appears to work correctly for Steam and RetroArch, but does not resolve the issue for the applications mentioned above. It is likely that this behavior also occurs with other gaming applications, although I have not tested them.
