Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Unwanted title bars on JetBrains IDE tool windowsrevision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:49 UTC via poll

System details

Omarchy 3.5.0, JetBrains IDE 2026.1

What's wrong?

After recently updating to Omarchy 3.5.0 and JetBrains IDE version 2026.1, ugly window title bars have started appearing on all IDE tooling windows. This occurs even when the tool windows are detached or in float mode. Previously, the setup provided a perfectly clean, borderless view without these extra window decorations.

Expected behavior:

Floating tooling windows and popups within JetBrains IDEs should maintain a clean view and hide the default window manager decorations/title bars, exactly as they did prior to these updates.

Actual behavior:

Standard window title bars are forced onto all JetBrains IDE tooling windows, which clutters the screen and breaks the clean Omarchy/Hyprland aesthetic.
