Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Virtualbox VM in preperation for an install on a xps 13
What's wrong?
I ran into this issue where the installer could not find a perl dependency. I tried to install via pacman but found that the install script had already swapped over to the omarchy repos, and thus, the package was missing. It also left me in a state where I couldn't install anything (even an editor, I wound up trying to echo a standard arch repo into my mirrorlist but found that even when I was able to do so it was not resolving repos because every request was now getting a 302 (confirmed with curl).
The above was irritating, but is an already noted issue. My point with this issue is to say that when you change existing files, you should make a backup of the old ones, as it becomes almost impossible to recover from it.
