Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Tailscale not automatically connecting after fresh install of Omarchy 3.6.0revision 1 · captured 2026-10-04 11:56 UTC via poll

System details

XPS 16 2026 OLED

What's wrong?

This is my first bug report, and I am not even sure it's a bug, just trying to help :)

Computer: XPS 16 2026 w/ OLED
Mods: Samsung 9100 Pro Gen 5 m.2 SSD
Fresh update of BIOS firmware
Fresh install of Omarchy 3.6.0

After initial install and reboot, I proceeded to set things up as normal. When I installed Tailscale, I expected the regular process that I was used to: Install > Service > Tailscale

The expected behavior was that at the end of the install there would be a link to ctrl click to connect to Tailscale. Instead, I had a "Done! Press any key to close..." message.

I closed the terminal and went to the Tailscal website and get the install curl script.

Did not do a fresh second install to try to replicate, so I do not know if this was just a one-time fluke.

Hope this helps!
