Original report
System details
AMD Ryzen 7 7730U , AMD Barcelo [Integrated], HP 255 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC, Omarchy 3.6.0
What's wrong?
Description:
When mirroring the laptop screen to an external display, closing the laptop lid triggers the system to disable the internal display via the new "Laptop Display" toggle. This leads to instability and eventually causes a crash.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Connect an external monitor
- Configure screen mirroring in monitors.conf
- Close the laptop lid
- Observe that the system disables the internal display automatically
Expected Behavior:
System should either maintain stable output on the external display or handle the internal display being disabled without causing instability.
Actual Behavior:
Disabling the laptop display in this scenario causes system instability and eventually results in a crash.
