Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
Omarchy 3.6.0 - AMD Ryzen™ AI 300 Series - Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370
What's wrong?
Since the latest Omarchy update, opening the laptop lid results in hyprlock being completely unresponsive for roughly 10 seconds — no keyboard input or fingerprint recognition. After the delay, password entry works normally. Fingerprint never works at all on the lock screen.
This did not happen prior to the update.
Steps to reproduce:
- Let the screen lock (idle or lid close)
- Open the lid
- Hyprlock shows but ignores all input for ~10s
- Fingerprint reader never authenticates
Related:
May be connected to #1819 (fingerprint on lock screen) and #1469 (auth lag). Flagging separately as the regression appears tied to a specific update.
