ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Omarchy 3.8.2
What's wrong?
The “No-encryption installations” section of the Omarchy Manual says to press Ctrl + U:
https://learn.omacom.io/2/the-omarchy-manual/50/getting-started#no-encryption-installations
The current installer instead displays:
Press Ctrl+C for unencrypted install.
I confirmed that Ctrl + C switches to the unencrypted installation option. Ctrl + U does not work.
The installer source also confirms Ctrl + C is intentional:
https://github.com/omacom-io/omarchy-iso/blob/main/configs/airootfs/root/configurator#L270-L300
Suggested correction: replace Ctrl + U with Ctrl + C in the manual.
