Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report

Codex CLI 0.157.1 breaks Super+C universal copy in its terminal UIrevision 1 · captured 2026-09-28 21:23 UTC via poll

_ai;dr_ They hooked copy or something in the newest codex. Ctrl+C works in the TUI by explicit instruction from codex, but Super+C no longer works. Tested both in and out of herdr.

Description

With Codex CLI 0.157.1 focused in a terminal, Omarchy's Super+C universal copy shortcut no longer copies selected text as expected. This behavior was reported by a user on Omarchy 4.0.4-1. I verified Omarchy's key mapping and the installed Codex version, but have not independently reproduced the clipboard failure.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Codex CLI 0.157.1 in an Omarchy terminal.
  2. Select text in the Codex interface.
  3. Press Super+C, then paste into another application.

Expected behavior

The selected Codex text should be placed on the clipboard, as Omarchy's universal copy shortcut promises.

Observed behavior

The user reports that Super+C no longer copies text in Codex 0.157.1. The precise terminal and whether direct Ctrl+Shift+C still works have not yet been confirmed.

Relevant Omarchy behavior

default/hypr/bindings/clipboard.lua maps Super+C to Ctrl+Shift+C for terminal-tagged windows, and to Ctrl+C for other windows. The next diagnostic step is to compare Super+C and direct Ctrl+Shift+C with Codex focused, then repeat in another terminal application. This should locate whether the regression is in terminal tagging, shortcut dispatch, or Codex's text selection behavior.
