Proof Portal
Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
AMD Ryzen 5 5600, AMD Radeon RX 6600, Omarchy 4.0.0.r1508.g12af188-1
What's wrong?
In /usr/share/omarchy/default/hypr/apps/terminals.lua, this:
o.window("(Alacritty|kitty|com.mitchellh.ghostty|foot|wezterm)", { tag = "+terminal" })is used to apply the dynamic terminal tag to those specified classes.
When launching a TUI (like neovim or btop), though, the windows do not use the regular terminal class, but instead use org.omarchy.btop for btop, org.omarchy.nvim for neovim, etc.
To apply the proper tags, I suggest using initial_title for the detection:
o.window({ initial_title = "(Alacritty|kitty|Ghostty|foot|wezterm)" }, { tag = "+terminal" })View raw text
