Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
Omarchy 4.0.0.r1555.gbb8d2f2-1; kernel 7.1.5-arch1-2; internal eDP-1 (Samsung ATNA40HQ02-0); external DP-1 (Dell U3225QE)
What's wrong?
With both the laptop display (eDP-1) and an external monitor (DP-1) connected, Omarchy keyboard shortcuts that open Quickshell panels consistently place the panel on eDP-1.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Connect an external monitor and keep the laptop display enabled.
2. Focus a workspace on the external monitor.
3. Use a Quickshell panel shortcut, for example Super+Ctrl+A (Audio), Super+Ctrl+B (Bluetooth), Super+Ctrl+D (Display), Super+Ctrl+W (Network), or Super+Ctrl+P (Power).
Actual behavior: the panel opens on the laptop display (eDP-1).
Expected behavior: when an external monitor is connected, a panel opened through its keyboard shortcut should open on that external monitor (ideally the focused monitor), with the laptop display used only as the fallback when no external monitor is present.
This makes keyboard-driven panels inconvenient when working primarily on the external display.
