Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details
Dell XPS, NuPhy air75 v3 keyboard
What's wrong?
Keyboard has stuck shift key using USB dongle only. Does not happen with USB cable.
Dongle USB ID: 19f5:2620
Regression:
- Same keyboard/receiver works on Omarchy 3.
- On Quattro RC4, keyboard connects and emits normal evdev events,
but Caps Lock becomes unexpectedly enabled / keyboard behaves as if
Caps Lock is stuck.
This is due to Omarchy 4's new effective default keymap settings compose:caps,shift:both_capslock_cancel.
Workaround:
kb_options = "compose:caps"
The problem disappears immediately when
shift:both_capslock_cancel is removed.
The 2.4 GHz receiver enumerates normally and the primary keyboard
interface (/dev/input/event21) produces normal key events in evtest.
This is likely a NuPhy bug, but Omarchy's change in Quattro exposes it.
Suggest workaround, disabling this kbd state if dongle usb id is detected.
