Proof Portal
Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D; NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti Laptop (nvidia-open); BIOS: 315 / 316
What's wrong?
On Omarchy Quattro (4.0.0) stable channel the system hard-freezes with black screen when entering suspend (systemctl suspend or lid close) both in hybrid and dGPU modes.
Journal always ends with:
PM: suspend entry (s2idle)
Only long press of the power button recovers the laptop.
What works:
- Same machine on Omarchy Edge channel: suspend/resume works perfectly.
- Clean Arch + KDE also works fine.
- Older Omarchy 3.8.4 previously worked.
What was tried (no effect on stable):
- BIOS 315 and 316
- gpiolib_acpi.ignore_interrupt=AMDI0030:00@21,AMDI0030:00@24
- pci=noaer + pcie_aspm=off
- nvidia S0ix options (NVreg_EnableS0ixPowerManagement=1, PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=1)
- Updating asusctl/asusd to 6.4 from OGC
So, apparently it is a regression in Omarchy stable packages. Edge channel already contains the fix.
