Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

What's wrong?
Just ran an update from the edge channel, it installed a version of quickshell that requires 6.11.2 but only 6.11.1 is available in the package repository causing quickshell to fail to restart. Had to manually roll back with:
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/quickshell-git-0.3.0.r20.g28771c7-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst
omarchy restart shellThe triggering Omarchy source commit was:21eacb324a63c6d5ee94af667422b013d2b33ce7 (https://github.com/basecamp/omarchy/commit/21eacb324a63c6d5ee94af667422b013d2b33ce7) — “Ship quickshell as quickshell-git for synchronous kill” (July 21, 2026).
It switched Omarchy to its quickshell-git package. The actual break was the later …-2 package build being published for Qt 6.11.2 while the Omarchy mirror still served Qt 6.11.1—so it is a package/mirror coordination regression rather than a direct code bug in that commit.
