Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
Omarchy 4.0.2-1, Nautilus 50.2.2, libadwaita 1.9.3, GTK4 4.22.4
What's wrong?
Nautilus only switches light/dark. It never adopts the Omarchy theme's actual colors (background, accent) and keeps Adwaita-dark's default gray background regardless of theme.
Expected behavior
Nautilus and other libadwaita apps should use the theme's background/accent colors from colors.toml.
To reproduce
- Open Nautilus, background is Adwaita-dark's gray,
- omarchy theme set any dark theme
- Nautlius retains gray
Cause
omarchy-theme-set-gnome only sets gtk-theme (Adwaita/Adwaita-dark), color-scheme, and icon-theme. There is no generated GTK theme or GTK CSS template, so GTK apps never receive the theme's palette (unlike terminals, nvim, etc.).
At the very least the background color should change.
