Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.
Weather panel location name can overlap the Celsius temperature

Original report
What happened
In the weather panel, a long location label can render over the hero temperature and Celsius unit.
The panel anchors the temperature row to the left and the location/stats column to the right, but does not reserve horizontal space between them. When the location is sufficiently long, the two elements occupy the same area.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the weather panel from the bar.
- Set a location with a long city or locality name.
- Reopen the panel.
Expected behavior
The location label should truncate, wrap, or otherwise remain within the available right-side column without overlapping the temperature.
Environment
- Omarchy: 4.0.2-1
- Weather plugin: stock omarchy.weather (no user plugin override)
- User shell configuration: standard weather widget placement
The issue is visible in the shipped weather Panel.qml: heroLeft is left-anchored and heroRight is right-anchored, with no width constraint or collision handling for the location label.
