Original report
System details
Omarchy 4.0.0.r1979.gb686ed8-1, Hyprland, NVIDIA RTX 5060, DaVinci Resolve Studio 21.1 on Linux.
What's wrong?
DaVinci Resolve's Extras Download Manager keeps reclaiming focus, preventing switching to another window while it is open.
- Open DaVinci Resolve Studio 21.1.
- Open DaVinci Resolve > Extras Download Manager.
- Try to focus another application while the Download Manager remains open.
Expected: other windows can take focus while downloads run.
Actual: focus stays locked to the Download Manager.
hyprctl clients -j reports class resolve and title Download Manager. The default Resolve rule sets stay_focused = true, but the later exceptions do not include this title.
Adding the exact Download Manager title to the existing stay_focused = false exceptions and reloading Hyprland fixes the issue, confirmed in the running desktop. hyprctl configerrors reports no errors.
