Sintoma

Ao abrir Install → AUR pelo menu do Omarchy, a janela do terminal pisca e fecha imediatamente.

Ambiente

  • Omarchy dev (checkout em ~/omarchy)
  • Hyprland (Wayland)
  • GPU: Intel HD Graphics 4000 (Ivy Bridge, driver i915)
  • Ghostty 1.3.1+omarchy.3 como terminal padrão

A GPU expõe OpenGL 4.2, e o Ghostty exige 4.3. Sem a janela inicializar, o xdg-terminal-exec não mostra erro e a janela fecha em silêncio.

Workaround testado

Com MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=4.3 e MESA_GLSL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=430, o Ghostty inicia e mantém a janela aberta. Não foi testado se o override causa glitches de renderização nesse hardware.

Solução usada: trocar o terminal padrão para foot em ~/.config/xdg-terminals.list, e o AUR passou a funcionar.

Sugestão

  • Documentar que GPUs Intel Ivy Bridge / HD 4000 não atendem o OpenGL 4.3 do Ghostty.
  • O instalador do AUR (omarchy-pkg-aur-install) ou o xdg-terminal-exec poderiam detectar que o terminal padrão não iniciou e cair para outro terminal, mostrando uma mensagem em vez de fechar em silêncio.

## Sintoma
