Original report
Description
The audio panel can display a contradictory mixed state: the header says MUTED while the master switch appears enabled.
Steps to reproduce
- Select an audio device with both an input and output.
- Mute the output.
- Leave the microphone input unmuted.
- Open the Omarchy audio panel.
Actual behavior
The header displays MUTED, but the master switch remains on.
Expected behavior
The panel should clearly represent the mixed input/output state—for example, with separate visible mute controls or a mixed/partially-muted state.
Code confirmation
In shell/plugins/panels/audio/Panel.qml:
anyAudibleis true when either input or output is unmuted.- The master switch uses
checked: root.anyAudible. - The header label is calculated only from
root.outputMuted.
Therefore:
- output muted
- microphone unmuted
anyAudible == true
This produces a MUTED header alongside an enabled switch.
Environment
- Omarchy 4.0.3-1

## Description The audio panel can display a contradictory mixed state: the header says **MUTED** while the master switch appears enabled. ## Steps to reproduce 1. Select an audio device with both an input and output. 2. Mute the output. 3. Leave the microphone input unmuted. 4. Open the Omarchy audio panel. ## Actual behavior The header displays `MUTED`, but the master switch remains on. ## Expected behavior The panel should clearly represent the mixed input/output state—for example, with separate visible mute controls or a mixed/partially-muted state. ## Code confirmation In `shell/plugins/panels/audio/Panel.qml`: - `anyAudible` is true when either input or output is unmuted. - The master switch uses `checked: root.anyAudible`. - The header label is calculated only from `root.outputMuted`. Therefore: - output muted - microphone unmuted - `anyAudible == true` This produces a `MUTED` header alongside an enabled switch. ## Environment - Omarchy 4.0.3-1
