Omarchy

ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirements

A proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

System details

Omarchy Latest version, VivoBook_ASUSLaptop X515DA_D515DA (1.0), AMD Ryzen 7 3700U,AMD Radeon Vega 10 Graphics (8) @ 4.00 GHz,

What's wrong?

In general, I’m using the OS, and at some point something happens and the key presses get stuck. For example, switching windows doesn’t work via Alt+Tab, but simply via Tab. Other keys may produce ambiguous behavior in different applications. The AI suggested that my Alt key might be stuck, but in Chromium, for example, during the bug, pressing Shift+R brings up the menu that opens when you click on the three dots on the top right. Without the bug, Alt+Shift+R doesn’t produce the same result. I’d like to note that the only keyboard shortcut I’ve added is for changing the language — shift+alt. I’ve been using the system for 3 days, and until today, I haven’t had this problem. The bug occurs after about 30–60 minutes of using the computer; it’s resolved either by restarting the system or by logging out of the account. Please forgive my English — I’m writing the text using a translator.
