Original report
What happened
In the clock bar widget's calendar popup, the big "hero" date text at the top of the panel clips off-screen on the right edge for certain dates. Today (September 13) is a worst-case combination: the longest month name (September, 9 letters) plus a two-digit day, and the trailing digit gets cut off by the panel's edge.
Expected behavior
The hero date text should always fit fully inside the popup, regardless of month name length or day digit count.
Steps to reproduce
- Open the clock's calendar popup (click the clock in the bar, or
SUPER+CTRL+ALT+D, oromarchy-shell shell toggle omarchy.clock). - Have the current date be a long month name + a two-digit day (e.g. September 13, November 21, December 10).
- Observe the hero title ("September 13") is clipped at the right edge of the popup.

Root cause
In shell/plugins/panels/clock/Panel.qml, the popup's width is fixed:
contentWidth: panel.fittedContentWidth(Style.space(560))But the hero date Text renders at an unclamped font.pixelSize: 52, font.bold: true, with no width cap and no elide. For most month/day combinations this fits inside 560px, but the longest month name combined with a double-digit day can exceed it, and the surrounding Flickable (clip: true) crops the overflow instead of wrapping/eliding it.
Suggested fix
Size the popup to the hero row's actual content instead of a flat constant, so it only grows when it needs to (and stays centered rather than clipped):
contentWidth: panel.fittedContentWidth(Math.max(Style.space(560), heroRow.implicitWidth + panel.padding * 2 + Style.space(24)))Verified locally by cloning the plugin (omarchy plugin clone omarchy.clock) and applying this change — the popup now widens just enough to keep "September 13" (and other long combinations) fully visible, with no visible effect on shorter dates.

## Root cause
In `shell/plugins/panels/clock/Panel.qml`, the popup's width is fixed:
```qml
contentWidth: panel.fittedContentWidth(Style.space(560))
```
But the hero date `Text` renders at an unclamped `font.pixelSize: 52`, `font.bold: true`, with no width cap and no elide. For most month/day combinations this fits inside 560px, but the longest month name combined with a double-digit day can exceed it, and the surrounding `Flickable` (`clip: true`) crops the overflow instead of wrapping/eliding it.
