Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
Problem
bin/omarchy-brightness-display-ddc uses:
cache_dir="${XDG_RUNTIME_DIR:-/tmp}/omarchy-brightness-display-ddc"Without XDG_RUNTIME_DIR, the DDC bus and range cache lands at a fixed path in world-writable /tmp. Another local user can plant or replace those cache files and steer later brightness calls at a bus they chose.
Expected
Prefer XDG_RUNTIME_DIR. Without it, stage the cache under a private 0700 owner-checked state directory — not a predictable /tmp/omarchy-… path.

Not checked yet. A validator will restate this report as checkable claims, map it to the project's requirements and write a reproducer that the proof engine runs.
