Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
What happened
Taking a screenshot (Print key) shows a notification with a broken/generic icon: four purple and black squares (the GTK/notification-daemon fallback for an unresolved app icon), instead of a real icon.
Cause
omarchy-capture-screenshot calls omarchy-notification-send without -i/--icon:
omarchy-notification-send "Screenshot saved to clipboard and file" "Edit with Super + Alt + , (or click this)" \
--image "$FILEPATH" \
--exec "$SCREENSHOT_EDITOR" "$FILEPATH" || trueomarchy-notification-send defaults app_icon="" when -i isn't passed, so the notification carries no app icon and the daemon falls back to its generic missing-icon glyph.
Expected
Pass a real icon (e.g. a screenshot/camera icon, or the configured $SCREENSHOT_EDITOR's icon) via -i so the notification shows something meaningful instead of the placeholder.
System
- Omarchy 4.0.3-1 (Arch Linux)
- Reproduced with both the default editor and a custom
OMARCHY_SCREENSHOT_EDITOR

## What happened Taking a screenshot (Print key) shows a notification with a broken/generic icon: four purple and black squares (the GTK/notification-daemon fallback for an unresolved app icon), instead of a real icon. ## Cause `omarchy-capture-screenshot` calls `omarchy-notification-send` without `-i/--icon`: ``` omarchy-notification-send "Screenshot saved to clipboard and file" "Edit with Super + Alt + , (or click this)" \ --image "$FILEPATH" \ --exec "$SCREENSHOT_EDITOR" "$FILEPATH" || true ``` `omarchy-notification-send` defaults `app_icon=""` when `-i` isn't passed, so the notification carries no app icon and the daemon falls back to its generic missing-icon glyph. ## Expected Pass a real icon (e.g. a screenshot/camera icon, or the configured `$SCREENSHOT_EDITOR`'s icon) via `-i` so the notification shows something meaningful instead of the placeholder. ## System - Omarchy 4.0.3-1 (Arch Linux) - Reproduced with both the default editor and a custom `OMARCHY_SCREENSHOT_EDITOR`
