Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
Omarchy 4.0.3-1; Linux 7.2.3-arch1-3; Hyprland 0.56.2-2; Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 3, Ryzen 7 5700U / AMD Lucienne (1002:164c); linux-firmware-amdgpu 20260810-2.
What's wrong?
Twice, after hibernating and resuming through the LUKS prompt, the desktop froze at the user-password screen and required a forced power-off. Normal use includes repeated hibernation cycles and alternating Dell/LG HDMI monitors; the latest failed resume had no external attached. Reproduction is intermittent, and custom monitor/workspace configuration and a hibernation wrapper are present.
Logs show AMD register-write failures, compute IB test timeouts, then a kernel NULL dereference in drm_sched_job_arm through amdgpu_cs_ioctl. We suspect an upstream AMD driver problem, but the root cause and any Omarchy/configuration contribution are not established.
Full diagnostics, reproduction context, and ongoing testing: [AMD issue #5808](https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/amd/-/work_items/5808).
A local workaround holds GFXOFF off across hibernation and restores it afterward, keeping the same kernel and hibernation enabled. One real cycle passed without the previous queue errors or oops; a DMCUB diagnostic error remained. This is not yet a confirmed fix. Further test results will be recorded in the AMD issue, with relevant findings cross-referenced here.

Validation
Not checked yet. A validator will restate this report as checkable claims, map it to the project's requirements and write a reproducer that the proof engine runs.
