Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Original report
System details
Apple MacBookPro15,2 (board Mac-827FB448E656EC26, i5-8259U). Trackpad Apple Inc. Apple Internal Keyboard / Trackpad, USB 05ac:027b, on the t2bce_vhci bridge at pci-0000:02:00.1-usb-0:5:1.2.
What's wrong?
On my T2 MacBook Pro, input:touchpad:disable_while_typing can be set enabled in Hyprland but does nothing because the T2 virtual USB bridge causes the built-in trackpad to be classified as external, making libinput’s disable-while-typing feature
unavailable. A local hwdb rule setting ID_INPUT_TOUCHPAD_INTEGRATION=internal for the affected Apple trackpad (05ac:027b), fixes the issue. Not sure if this is Hyprland/Omarchy or upstream systemd hwdb issue. fix should account for the different controller IDs used by other T2 models.
