Omarchy
ProbeLabs65 findings · 95 requirementsA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.

Lenovo X1, Omarchy quattro
What's wrong?
related: https://github.com/omacom/omarchy/issues/483
I have my Omarchy setup with two keyboard layouts en-gb for normal use, and en-us for when I connect to an external keyboard or need to access a key I can't otherwise find. Now everytime I boot up, I see this notification:
<img width="483" height="130" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/07504f85-d46b-4d37-b63d-3d8059b14d79" />
Working with claude, I found a workaround, and I think it should probably be in the core OS:
# Hyprland doesn't implement this (KDE5+/GNOME only) so it's a no-op here anyway
Allow Overriding System XKB Settings=FalseLet me know if this seems like an inappropriate fix, but afaik, it addresses the issue.
