Omarchy
ProbeLabsviewing a historical runA proof layer — requirements, tests and verified fixes — for two of Omarchy's subsystems: the application menu (launcher scripts, QML model, JSONC config, search and selection) and the lock screen (lock scripts, QML, PAM authentication). Scope is deliberately limited to those components of omacom/omarchy; the rest of the distribution is not covered.
A dmenu option may lead with a glyph TAB and trail a subtext TAB.
Specification
The requirement exactly as authored — its complete prose text and, where present, the formal FRETish sentence it compiles to.
A dmenu option may lead with a glyph TAB and trail a subtext TAB. The picker shows the glyph but never returns it. A subtext-bearing pick returns 'label TAB subtext' as the stable key.
when dmenu_option_picked the dmenu_protocol shall eventually satisfy glyph_stripped & subtext_returned

Hazard review
- scenarioreviewedboundaryedge_casemalformed_input
Worst case: a row shaped label TAB subtext with no glyph - an illegal shape under this protocol - is silently reinterpreted (label becomes the icon, subtext renders as the label, detail is lost), so the caller sees different text than it sent and gets subtext back as the pick; consequence is a confused display and a shifted stable key on a caller-contract violation, with no crash and no cross-row bleed. boundary: the zero cases are pinned - a glyph-less row takes the label-first branch, an empty label after the shift renders as empty, and an empty query keeps every row. edge_case: a label containing embedded tabs re-splits for display but the returned key round-trips the original tail intact (label TAB detail reassembles everything after the glyph), so same-named-row disambiguation stays faithful; query filtering covers label and subtext together.
- propertyrevieweddeterminismtotality
determinism: rows iterate dmenuOptions in order with score=i, so display order and selection indices are stable functions of the option list. totality: every option string maps to exactly one display row (or is filtered by the query) and every activation resolves to glyph-free label or label TAB detail - the glyph can never leak into a pick and no row lacks a defined return.
- structuralnot applicable
Split/shift/join over one row string; the synthetic itemId dmenu.<i> is display-only and never returned; no eval, arithmetic, or encoding transform.
- domainnot applicable
Caller-supplied dmenu rows render back to the same user who supplied them; no trust boundary, network, crypto, or privilege surface in the compositor-side display slice, and no cross-process wait exists in it either.

Read rebuildDmenuDisplay and the dmenu activation path. Options are parsed as glyph TAB label [TAB subtext]; the display model shows the glyph, and activateIndex builds the returned selection from picked.label and picked.detail only — the glyph never reaches the result, and a subtext-bearing pick returns 'label TAB subtext' as the stable key. Both conjuncts map to that string build. Formula conforms to the code.

Obligations
What this requirement must witness to be considered satisfied — the required evidence, and the tests that discharge each one.
The tests that discharge each obligation aren't available for a historical run
The evidence matrix behind each obligation comes from the live audit index, which can't be rebuilt for a past commit. Nothing here means unknown — not that the requirement has no obligations.

MC/DC truth table· 5 rows
Each row assigns the formula's conditions (T/F) and shows the Result— the formula's value for that input row, not a test pass/fail. A row proves a condition when flipping only that condition flips the outcome. The test that covers each row is linked.
